Amazing Deals 4U operates amazingdeals4u.co.uk and is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For questions, privacy requests or to withdraw consent, use our Contact Us form.
Deal emails and optional text alerts
We collect your email address, optional first name, optional mobile number and your separate email and SMS consent choices. Our signup system also records subscription status and may record the time, source and IP address of a signup to manage consent and prevent misuse. We rely on your consent for marketing emails and texts. Providing a mobile number does not by itself give consent to SMS marketing: you must tick the separate SMS box.
Signups are stored in our WordPress database using the Newsletter plugin and are accessible to authorised website administrators. We may export email subscriber details to Mailchimp to deliver the emails you request. Text preferences are currently collected in WordPress; no automatic SMS delivery service is connected.
Contact messages
When you use our contact form, we collect the name, reply email address, optional phone number and message you provide. We use these details to respond to your enquiry, manage requests and protect the site from misuse, based on our legitimate interests in operating the website and answering enquiries. Contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing. Please do not include payment details or sensitive personal information.
Service providers and external content
Hostinger hosts the website and its WordPress database. Hosting and security services may process technical records such as IP addresses and request logs to operate and protect the site. Our email provider Mailchimp may process data internationally under its applicable data-processing terms and safeguards. See Mailchimp’s privacy information for more details.
Product images may load from retailers’ servers, which receive technical information such as your IP address when your browser requests an image. Retailer links take you to separate websites governed by their own privacy policies. We do not collect payment details for purchases made with those retailers.
Cookies
WordPress uses cookies for functions such as administrator login. Your browser lets you review, block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies can affect site functionality. We will update this notice if we introduce additional tracking services.
Retention and security
We keep subscription information while you remain subscribed and for as long as necessary to manage your preferences and demonstrate consent. After you opt out, we may retain a minimal suppression record to avoid sending unwanted marketing. We retain enquiries for as long as needed to resolve them and deal with related follow-up or legal obligations. Technical logs and backups may retain information for operational and security purposes. Access to stored personal information is limited to people and service providers who need it for these purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails through the unsubscribe link in each marketing email. To withdraw SMS consent or ask about your information, use our Contact Us form. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or transfer your information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
